GIS - Community Equipment supplies a huge range of medical aids and equipment to individuals in the community and residential / nursing homes.
Where do we operate?
GIS - Community Equipment operates over two sites Gloucester and Mitcheldean.
Gloucester site is based at Sudmeadow Road, Hempsted, Gloucester where there is a warehouse which stores the equipment and where some equipment is refurbished.
Mitcheldean site is based at the Vantage Point, Mitcheldean in the Forest of Dean and undertakes refurbishment of the equipment that is collected when no longer required. They ensure original manufacturers specifications are maintained replacing any parts required; this is anything from raised toilet seats to bariatric beds. They also ensure servicing is up-to-date and that the equipment is clean and safe to reuse. If items cannot be reused, they are disposed of accordingly.
